Kernel Itu Apa? Pendahuluan Pada halaman artikel ini, saya akan mengulas tentang Kernel yang terdapat pada video berikut yang berjudul "What is Kernel?" ( https://youtu.be/7HatJ1t-iQQ ). Video tersebut diunggah pada 15 Februari 2014 oleh channel Jones Tech Media yang memiliki durasi selama 6:59 menit dan telah ditonton sebanyak 39.660 kali termasuk saya saat blog ini dipublikasikan. Ringkasan Kernel merupakan program penghubung antara hardware dan software yang dimana kernel menerima request,  lalu oleh kernel akan disampaikan kepada yang menerima request tersebut (dari software ke hardware atau sebaliknya). Kernel juga merupakan program kedua yang terinstall saat komputer dinyalakan setelah BIOS. Terdapat pula 2 major OS kernel  yaitu Windows dan Unix.  Terdapat 3 kategori utama kernel yaitu: Monolithic kernel Microkernel Hybrid kernel.
